Thoughts on Life, Space Medicine and Longevity from a Medical Student

Join me, Pavel, as I share my reflections on the world around us.

About

Hi, I’m Pavel Skalazub.

Currently, I’m studying medicine in Düsseldorf, Germany while working on research in cardiology and hematology — with a growing focus on longevity, AI in healthcare, and space medicine.

Previously, I built and sold my first app at 17, helped organize medical congresses, and won a European Space Agency hackathon focused on health and innovation.

I moved from Belarus to Germany to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor and building meaningful healthcare solutions. Along the way, I’ve worked across clinics, labs, and startups — constantly exploring where medicine, technology, and performance intersect.

Today, I split my time between medical research, content creation, and designing systems to help people live longer, healthier, more intentional lives.

PASSIONS

Medicine, space, and the future of health

I’m obsessed with where science and exploration meet. From longevity to cardiology to space medicine — I want to understand how we can extend human performance and protect health in any environment.

Sports, discipline, and the limits of the body
Running and Gym clear my mind. I believe that movement, structure, and challenge are essential to both mental and physical growth.

Technology, design, and real-world impact
I love building things — from apps to systems. Good design isn't decoration; it's precision, clarity, and purpose. My dream is to create tools that make healthcare simpler, smarter, and more human.

Empowering future doctors
Medical education is outdated. I want to inspire and equip young med students to explore research, technology, and entrepreneurship early on.

And much more
Sailing, real food, smart questions, medical AI, long walks, beautiful cities, and books that change how you think.
